Modern Restoration's newest component
Change your company direction for the future
Residential and commercial applications
Run the job, document the job, bill the job, collect the job, and know what the job made. Built live on a 38,000 square foot commercial water loss, from the first phone call to the job cost report.
Who is teaching
We teach the discipline. You choose your own tools.

24 years in disaster restoration, in the field, domestically and globally. Executive positions with a few high caliber companies as well as building and exiting his own commercial company. Klark focuses on business systems that allow the founder to live a more balanced life to follow their passions.

Operating systems for restoration companies. The process from the first phone call through collections: response, documentation and communication, with the roles, SOPs, and scoreboard that make it repeatable.
What you will learn
Time and material continues to be the most defensible and transparent format for capturing emergency services and all related project types. Many owners think this is only for large losses, but that is untrue. More and more of our industry models are moving to time and material. This class teaches the fundamentals of what T&M means as a format, how it can improve customer experience, client onboarding and transparency, and how this gets you paid quicker and in full.
Learn to walk the project you have seen a thousand times, put a preliminary number on it based on your assessment, and begin to set the right expectations so the customer is on board the whole time.
Learn to speak about the loss type and the outcome in terms the customer can understand and agree upon moving forward.
Learn to implement the process of daily communications with the actual price in real time, so the customer and all stakeholders have ample opportunity to make comments and make decisions.
Report daily spend against the authorization so the customer and the carrier see the job as it runs.
Empower field staff to keep the daily labor, equipment and materials sheets. Capturing the data rewards technical expertise and growth.
Replace vague work descriptions with a crystal clear job file: signed rate sheet, signed daily sheets, photos, and the reconciled packet.
Weekly draws, the closeout audit, the bill package and the final invoice summary. Approved rates, authorized scope and aligned customers remove almost all insurance interactions.
Read the job cost report, set your own rates from your own costs, and maximize profit on the next one.
Two days in person, built live on a 38,000 square foot commercial water loss. Teams build and defend a complete job file on the project. Day 1 starts at 8:00 AM. Day 2 ends by 3:00 PM.
The objections
A job file and invoice that represent what was actually done and used, by trained experts, remove the trust roadblocks that delay and slash payments.
How the room works
Contract language is a framework. Take it to your own attorney before you use it in your state.
The job that got cut, the invoice that aged to 120 days, the carrier that said no. That is the curriculum.
Teams build and defend a complete job file on this project.
What you take home
Bring a laptop or tablet and one real job from your own files. Rates and job numbers used in class are teaching numbers; you leave with the method to set your own from your own costs.
Registration
Teams work the project together, so bring the people who touch the job file.
